Baptized by Blazing Fire

In January 2005, the pastor of "The Lord's Church" in South Korea, brother Yong-Doo Kim, led his congregation to hold all night prayer meetings for 30 days.  They met daily from evening until the next morning.  They prayed fervently with repentance, and on their knees with hands lifted straight up to the Lord, they prayed in tongues for hours.  During that time, the Lord opened their spiritual eyes, so that they could see in the spiritual realm.  They saw angels, demons, and even Jesus Himself.  He took some of them to visit heaven and hell, and the pastor wrote a book about it.  The book is called "Baptized by Blazing Fire."  There are actually five books in the series.

A short sample of the book is available online. At the links I've provided below, you can find various formats of all five book summaries, including Word, PDF, and MP3.  Numerous events, encounters, details and visions were not included in this summary version. For the complete version please purchase the book at Amazon.com.

The apostle Paul taught the Ephesian church about spiritual warfare.  He said, "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." (Eph 6:10-12).   And he went on to say that we should pray in the Spirit always with all kinds of prayers for all the saints.  In his letter to the Corinthians, he defines praying in the Spirit as praying in tongues (1 Co 14:14-19), which is a gift given to those who have been baptized by the Holy Spirit.  And this is one of the keys to spiritual warfare, in addition to taking up the full armor of God.

I believe this book is a message from the Lord to the church today.  The Lord told brother Yong-Doo Kim that he would write a book about this experience and it would be read by people all over Korea and around the world.  The pastor was faithful to do what the Lord commanded, in spite of many demonic attacks that attempted to hinder the prayer meetings and the writing of the book.  Most Christians would have given up their attempt at the thirty days of prayer, as well as writing the book, but this pastor and his faithful little flock persisted to the end.  They overcame the obstacles and were victorious over the enemy.

Next to God's Word -- the Bible -- I think this is the most important book for the church to read right now.  We need to hear it and receive the message contained in it.

If you desire revival in your life, you should prayerfully read or listen to this book, and use the Testimony Review Process adopted by this blog, as you decide for yourself whether the Lord has spoken to him.  For issues and concerns, each person must confirm with the Lord, whether something is valid or not.

If you desire to overcome sin and learn how to be victorious over the flesh and the devil, then read the book.  If you want to know how to pray effectively in spiritual warfare, then read this book.

Do You Want to Know Him?
If you want to know Jesus personally, you can. It all begins when you repent and believe in Jesus.  Do you know what God's Word, the Bible says?

“Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God, and saying, ‘The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.’” (Mar 1:14b-15).  He preached that we must repent and believe.

Please see my explanation of this in my post called "Do You Want to Know Jesus?"

  1. What I dont understand however how someone could have been brought to hell and shown the tomenting there. The parable of the rich man and Lazuras states that both had died and the rich man gone to hell and the poor man to Abrahams bosom.

lazuras was then shown hell and the rich man and the rich man pleaded that God would send Lazuras to his family to warmn them of hell. God said that they Had Moses and the prophets and did not need Lazuras to show them/ THE rich man then asked if lazuras could come and dip the tip of his finger in water to cool his tounge as he was tormented in the flame.

God said no that there was a great gulf fixed between hevean and hell and that no one could pass from one to the other.

This shows me that hell is a horrible place were his torment was everlasting fire. It also tells me that hell is for the sinner and a saved person (a man of God) could not enter hell and see the horrors of it. Lazuras was unable to go to cool his tounge.

I think we need to be very wary of people who say they have these visions that in no way agree with the written word of God.

    1. Dear "Beware of False Teachers:"
What is important is not the means the Lord uses to speak or the vessel He uses, but the message He speaks. He can speak through a donkey, a child, a rock, or an eagle in the sky. But if the message is consistent with Holy Scripture, and with the character of our holy God, then we must listen and obey.

The Lord has revealed to pastor Daniel Ekechukwu and Samuel Oghenetega that He (the Lord) has decided to answer the prayer of the rich man of old in hell, whom you refer to in your comment here. That man prayed that someone would be sent back to earth from hell to warn those still alive. He prayed this way in the hope that if someone goes to them from the dead, they WILL repent!

Why is it thought incredible by any of you that God raises the dead? (Act 26:8) Why is it thought incredible by anyone that God brings people in spirit to hell to see the horrors of it, so they can come back to earth and warn this wicked generation of vipers? If God does this by the power of the Holy Spirit, and you say that was actually done by an evil spirit, then beware that you do not blaspheme the Holy Spirit. There is no forgiveness for that sin.

Lastly, you refer to "visions that in no way agree with the written word of God." I would agree we should be wary of such revelations. However, I have not posted any such thing on this blog, and would NOT post anything that fails to agree with the written Word of God.

Time is over, dear people. This is the last chance to repent. Judgments are already falling, and great calamity is about to befall the earth. Let's not harden our hearts to the Lord's attempts to bring us back to Him and save our souls from perishing. If today you hear His voice, harden not your hearts.

God bless those who have ears to hear what the Spirit says. For those who don't, then you have been warned.

    2. And what about false miracles? What if I have never been able to differentiate between a miracle of God and a false miracle, of Satan? I used to constantly ask myself, was that God or the devil? Not the Holy Spirit specifically, but I don't think I ever truly recognized the Holy Spirit in my life.

    3. Dear HH, the Scriptures teach us to test for false prophets, and to discern the things of the spirit. If you would like to know more about that, then please read:

  2. Thank you so much for this link and all your writings, I really want to be baptised by fire and have been praying earnestly. What steps do I need to take? Thank you in advance.

    1. You're welcome. First please let me say that I am not an expert, just a learner like you. That being said, you are taking the right steps already by your earnest desire for the fire of God, and the fact that you're earnestly praying to God for it. It's not any more complicated than that. "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." (Mk 11:24). After you have prayed earnestly, asking for the holy fire, get real quiet. As you kneel before Him, you could just gently express your sincere love for the Lord Jesus, your devotion to Him, and that you follow Him. You may hold your hands out before you with your palms up to express your expectation from Him; then just believe, and receive. Patiently wait there as long as it takes, and be very sensitive to the moving of the Holy Spirit upon you. You might feel some sensations in your physical body, such as I described in the blog. But we walk by faith, not by feelings. Be prepared to wait in His presence for a while for it. He will surely keep His Word. A good time to do this is when everything is very quiet, and you are free from all distractions. Consider fasting in combination with this. I pray you will have a glorious meeting with the Lord as He imparts His promised holy fire to you. PS. you may also check out the Covenant Prayer I have posted.

  3. Pastor Yong-Doo Kim says its not a sin to wear makeup? On another testimony...

  4. Dear aire lav, Pr. Kim says that women who wear trousers or makeup do not end up in hell for wearing pants alone or wearing makeup. He says people go to hell for not believing in Jesus properly. Let me encourage you to read the following blogs:

  5. This is from the website The Blazing Holy Fire:
Jesus told us that He created man naked. He also created the woman naked. Clothing is physical, manmade and as such, will it please Him? Will what is manmade, invented by man be used to determine who is holy and who is not, or who enter heaven or not? No! The material cannot buy the spiritual, it cannot be used as a scale to determine who is pleasing to God or not. God looks at the heart. So what is the motive of the heart that's what matters to Him. If someone is dressing to cause people to fall then that's sin. If someone dresses certain ways because of pride and vanity, then that is sin. If a woman habitually goes into men section and buys her cloths there, then they definitely need to be set free.
    3. To Take Captive Those Who Believe these Lies: Satan is the one behind the promotion of this false holiness. His plan is not just to divide, not just to sow small false doctrines here and there but to release demons into those who believe this deception. The moment people believe this deception and do not repent, they have opened a door by which Religious spirits will enter! This is what the Pharisees had! Luke 18:9-14 “And He also told this parable to some people who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and viewed others with contempt” One door open leads to another and to another and to another. One by one, spirits of judging others, pride, religious spirits etc… will enter those who open this door. When we see people, we are supposed to see the Christ in them but once that spirit enters, people are blinded and they stop seeing that beautiful Jesus in their brethren, instead they start judging them. The Pharisees emphasized on cleaning the outside while the inside was full of wickedness (Luke 11:38- 40; Matthew 23:25-28). On November 3, 2013 @ Blazing Holy Fire Church, Jesus who had spoken on this issue many times before once more answered the question of wearing pants, jewelry, make up, hair extension …
You Are not Going to Be Condemned to Hell Because of Wearing Pants!

    This is SIster Claire's testimony:
Sister Claire says that when Linda had this experience, she was not saved, but she got born again when she came back from hell. Now everything in sister Linda's life is about the Lord. Although she is a very quiet woman, who never went to school, she gave a warning from Jesus to women of God.

“And then Jesus said, ‘You are going back to the world. Tell My people, “Any bishop or wife, any man of God, any signs and wonders man of God, any pastor’s wife, who’s putting on these things [she points to her head, referring to hair attachments]; any prophetess – even if she prophesies to thousands of people – is putting on these things [she points to her head, referring to hair attachments], she will not see My face. Any woman, in and out of the Church, putting on trousers, putting on eyelashes, putting on [she points to her head, referring to hair attachments or any unnatural hairdo], earrings, gold teeth, tattoos, false fingernails, bleaching the skin, bleaching cream, you will not see God. Tinting of the hair, perming of the hair, stretching of the hair (you want it to look light and nice), you will not see God’s face.”

How do I know which or who is right?

    1. Dear aire lav, I understand your confusion. I don't want to get into any criticism of Pr. Kim. All I can say is that I think he is a true man of God. However, God does not give all revelations to one man. And one man or ministry or church is not the final say about what is true or not true. No matter how great a man of God someone is, they still need the rest of the Body of Christ, and the various true teachings and revelations the Lord genuinely gives to those other members around the world. And just because a church or pastor is "under" the holy fire ministries does not mean they are above making mistakes or that we do not need to use discernment regarding their prophecies. We must still test all things, regardless of who they come from.

I trust that you have read the articles I cited in my previous comment to you: Garments of Godliness, Godly Attire and Adornment -- Seven Divine Revelations, and The Rise of Antichrists. If not, then please read them. The Godly Attire and Adornment article was my own personal research that went into making my decision about this topic. We prayed about it, searched the Scriptures, discussed it as a family, and reached our conclusion unanimously. All of us agreed that the Lord's standard is clearly presented through the testimonies presented in what later became my article, "Godly Attire and Adornment."

As I said in the article, there are many more than just these seven people, who have received this message. Now there are at least fourteen, if you count Rachael Mushala, Zipporah Mushala, Samuel Oghenetega, Zipora Bitrus, Ezekiel Moses, Michael Shigaba, and James Agboola. Testing the Spirits of False Prophets
      http://spiritofthelordgod.blogspot.hu/2013/01/testing-spirits-of-false-prophets.html

Speaking of Testing the Spirits, I have gotten to know some of these people from Africa who have had these revelations about bodily holiness according to Rom 12:1; 1 Thes 4:4; and 5:23, and I have seen nothing but good fruit in their lives. I am certain they are not hearing from demons. Anyone who says that these revelations are from satan is in danger of Blaspheming the Holy Spirit and should be very careful. I truly pity anyone who does so.
      http://spiritofthelordgod.blogspot.hu/2013/12/blaspheming-holy-spirit.html

As for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you abide in Him. Now, little children, abide in Him, so that when He appears, we may have confidence and not shrink away from Him in shame at His coming. (1Jn 2:27-28) Shalom!

    2. PS. Dear aire lav, I traced those comments that you quoted from Pr. Kim's English website back to Pastor Christine Coleman of Blazing Holy Fire Church in Denver, Colorado, USA. This means these comments that you mentioned from Pr. Kim's English website are from her. You can read it at the following link:
      https://www.facebook.com/chris.o.mmusi/posts/10201636432697217

In it she makes the very strange statement that "when we get a word for you or translate vows back, someone must go to hell and be tormented for that." What does she mean by that? Is that in the Bible?

I would encourage you to prayerfully discern.

      Shalom.

  6. I've also seen pastor Kim videos and have met him and his wife, his wife does wear trousers

And I don't know,I've also confronted the mushala sisters about tje issue on Facebook and got blocked for asking
And also reading her testimonies got me so much fear whilst the testimonies of pastor kim gave me hope

Maybe I am wrong but why is it only Africans who seem to recieve visions about outward holiness?

    ReplyDelete

    1. That's not true. John Wesley, an Englishman, taught outward holiness before any of these Africans. And the Lord has also given the revelation of outward holiness to other non-Africans in our day, including Eudoxia from Hungary, Europe, as well as Adelaida de Carrillo from Bolivia, South America, and Olga from Russia. You can read about that at http://eternal-destinations.blogspot.hu/2013/05/godly-attire-and-adornment-seven-divine.html. It's nothing new but is right in the Word.
