Home

This is a collection of testimonies from those who claim to have experienced heaven and hell, as well as those who have had direct, face-to-face encounters with God the Father in heaven, the Lord Jesus Christ, or His holy angels.  It includes a number of documented accounts of individuals being raised from the dead.  It also includes some visions and important Scriptural studies on the topic of heaven and hell.

"Where there is no vision, the people perish..." (Pro 29:18a, KJV)

"For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life." (1 Thes 4:7, NIV)

"...But this is what was spoken of through the prophet Joel: 'And it shall be in the last days,' God says, 'that I will pour forth of my Spirit on all mankind; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams; even on My bondslaves, both men and women, I will in those days pour forth of My Spirit And they shall prophesy."  (Act 2:16-18, NASB)

It is my prayer that these testimonies will lead you to pray earnestly and seek the Lord's face, regarding the destiny of your own soul, and the souls of the people in your life, so that you and they will not miss the glories of heaven and wind up in hell for eternity.

A Man Who Was Caught Up Into Paradise

Lystra Sacrifice Painting by Raphael, 1515
“Near the turn of the 20th century, God gave Seneca Sodi the glorious experience of spending forty days in Heaven. This book will challenge your life and give you hope and encouragement to set aside all hindrances and press on into the glory of God.

As he relates his experiences to Elwood Scott, you will feel as though you are right with him, seeing the many different scenes of the Celestial Kingdom, escorted by King David. You will wonder at the glory and immensity of what God has prepared for us.

Your heart will he stirred at the description of the Holy Convocation around the Throne as Jesus speaks an end-time message of preparation for His coming. Your mind and heart will be enlarged as you look into a world beyond the veil and knowing that it will be worth it all!”  —The Publishers of Paradise, the Holy City and the Glory of the Throne by Rev. Elwood Scott.

The following is an excerpt in which Seneca Sodi recounted to Elwood Scott what happened during his visit to heaven when he spoke with the apostle Paul.

On the way I said to Paul, who sat by my side: "It does seem so good to be here with you, it seems indeed too good to be true. Fancy painted many fair pictures while we were in the world which were made to glow on the canvas of our imagination in reference to the future, but none ever equaled the reality."

"No," said Paul, "it was impossible for man to conceive of the glory while in the flesh. The Lord once gave me just a glimpse into paradise while yet in the world. The glory was beyond my power to describe."

I replied to Paul: "I have often wondered how it occurred, for we have a brief account in the divine word on earth which you left concerning it." (II Corinthians 12:2)

"Well," said he, "while at Lystra in Lyconia I was stoned and dragged out of the city for dead, but God raised me up, and I, with the brethren, went back to the city. (Acts 14:19) But that night I could not sleep, being restless and burdened with the word of the Lord. I arose and, all alone, went out of the city to pray. I ascended the side of old Karadogh, an extinct volcano. I seemed to be greatly helped, for an angel constantly held my hand. When some little distance up the mountain, one of the chariots of God, with a driver of light, appeared at my side. I was so enraptured by the presence and glory of God and both overawed and overcome by the royal chariot and driver that I hardly could tell whether I had died or was in a trance; but I soon found myself lying prostrate in the chariot and mounting far above the old mountain. We arose above the pillars of the skies. I soon heard the strains of music from the third heaven in the plains of paradise. They were singing some new songs, which as a mortal man, I had not power to repeat. I opened my eyes just for a moment, glanced at the crystal river and heard a loud voice proclaiming the mystery of the trees upon its banks. It was the closing words of a sermon uttered by Moses to a vast company of Jews, as I was told by the driver afterwards, giving them light upon these that they could not know while under the law and subject to an inferior experience, for you have already found that we have preaching here in heaven as we used to have on earth.

"Only an instant we remained and the chariot darted with the speed of sound toward the earth. In a few moments the old town of Lystra, lying at the foot of the mountain, with its streets and domes, shone out with their best appearance under the light of the full moon beaming upon them; but the people were fast asleep. I stepped from the chariot as the driver, with a pleasant wave of his hand, said, good-bye, and in an instant it was gone. On the top of Karadogh I continued my prayer and praise to God until near the break of day. I never could really tell while in my flesh whether I was loosened for the time being from my body or whether bodily I was taken to glory. Ever after this I had a longing to go back and forever remain; to depart and be with Christ. The words of the sermon and the strains of music could never be forgotten, but were an element of strength in my life during the many afflictions God permitted to come upon me."

Search for Mount Karadogh

Volcanic Mount Karadagh, near Karaman, Turkey
I did some research on this to try and locate this mount Karadogh. Paul told Seneca Sodi that he ascended the side of Karadogh, an extinct volcano.

In my research, I found in Wikipedia that there is a Kara Dag (formerly often written Kara Dagh), which is a volcanic mountain, located a few miles north of Karaman, Turkey.  Kara Dag or Qara Dag (Dag/Dağ/Dagh, occasionally Daq or Tagh) is Turkic for "Black Mountain". It may be written as one word (Karadag), a hyphenated word (Kara-dag), or as two words (Kara Dag).

This volcanic mountain is located 62 miles south of Konya, which was known during classical antiquity and during the medieval period as Iconium in Latin, and Iκόνιον (Ikónion) in Greek.

Paul and Barnabas preached in Konya (Iconium).  The Scripture says, “In Iconium they entered the synagogue of the Jews together, and spoke in such a manner that a large number of people believed, both of Jews and of Greeks.” (Act 14:1)  But after they were persecuted there, they went to the cities of Lycaonia, Lystra and Derbe. “And when an attempt was made by both the Gentiles and the Jews with their rulers, to mistreat and to stone them, they became aware of it and fled to the cities of Lycaonia, Lystra and Derbe, and the surrounding region; and there they continued to preach the gospel.” (Act 14:5-7).

Then the Jews from Konya (Iconium) came south to Lycaonia to persecute Paul: “But Jews came from Antioch and Iconium, and having won over the crowds, they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing him to be dead. But while the disciples stood around him, he got up and entered the city. The next day he went away with Barnabas to Derbe.” (Act 14:19-20).

It should be noted that where the Scripture says, “they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing him to be dead. But while the disciples stood around him, he got up and entered the city,” this happened in Lystra in Lyconia. According to Wikipedia, Lystra is located 30 kilometres (19 mi) south of the city of Konya, Turkey. Although Lystra is the ancient name of the village where the apostle Paul visited, the present name is "Klistra," which is near Gökyurt, Turkey. There is a road from Konya (Iconium) known today as D696, which the Jews from Iconium would have used for part of their journey to persecute Paul in Lystra.  Iconium is only 19 miles north of Lystra.  It would probably take 6 to 8 hours to walk that far.

Klistra (Lystra), Turkey is marked by an "A"map pin
I was curious to see on the map where Klistra (Lystra) is located, since that is the city where Paul was when he climbed Karadogh.  I needed to get a visual reference on this, and I was expecting it to be right at the base of this volcanic mountain in Turkey called Karadagh.

In the Google map above, you can see Klistra (Lystra) at point A, located southwest of Konya (Iconium).According to Ancient Locations, Lystra is located at the following latitude and longitude: 37.66469499, 32.21062472.  On the bottom right corner of the map is Karaman, just south of Karadagh, which is very obviously a volcanic mountain.  When you zoom in on it, you can see that there is a big hole in the middle where it erupted at one time.

From the map, I could easily see that Karadagh is some 80 miles from Klistra (Lystra).  That may seem like fairly close, when you consider that it could have been located any place in the world.  However, I was sure that the apostle Paul did not walk 80 miles from Lystra during the night to climb this mountain. So I examined the terrain near Lystra, now known as Klistra.

Sattelite photo of apparent extinct volcanic mountain near Lystra, Turkey
Amazingly I discovered that there is an apparent extinct volcano located about six tenths of a mile (1 km) from Klistra (Lystra).  In the satellite photo on the left (courtesy of Google), you can see this volcano marked by a white arrow.  The bear rock at the top of this mountain forms a crater, or mouth of a volcano.  Inside the crater you can see the caldera, or depression. According to the Google terrain map, this mountain reaches a height of 4,593 feet (1400 meters).  This is about the same size as Mount Liberty in New Hampshire, USA, which I used to hike.  Liberty is 4,460 feet (1,359 m) high. And since this mountain pictured in the satellite photo above is just a little more than half a mile from Lystra, it  would have been easy walking distance for Paul on that moonlit night

Antique painting titled "Kara Dagh near Lystra"
But I was left wondering why this mountain does not have the name Karadagh like the other volcanic mountain 80 miles from Lystra.  After all, this is what Paul called it in his conversation with Seneca Sodi.  Could Paul have mistakenly called it by the name of another similar "black mountain" in the same region?  Upon further research, I discovered an antique painting of mount Kara Dagh that was made in 1869.  It's titled "Kara Dagh near Lystra!"  What are the chances of this!! I liked it so much that I bought a print copy of it.

The caption beneath the painting reads: "This view of the mountain which forms so remarkable a feature in the scenery among which Timotheus passed his childhood, is due to the kindness of Rev. G. E. Weston, who crossed Lycaonia in 1845.  It represents the appearance of the Kara Dagh as seen from the approach of Iconium."  So this would have been the view that the Jews had of Kara Dagh, as they traveled down the road from Iconium to persecute Paul.

The painting proves that there is a mount Karadagh located near Lystra. It was painted in 1869, decades before Seneca Sodi's visit to heaven, in which Paul spoke to him about climbing Karadogh the night that he returned to Lystra after being stoned and dragged outside the city.  Elwood Scott did not record Seneca Sodi's experience until the turn of the century, so the artist who painted this could not have known that this was the mountain Paul climbed.  In fact, this mountain is never mentioned in Scripture.

This was a pretty amazing find for me. It seems to corroborate the story that the apostle Paul told to Seneca Sodi during his visit to heaven.  This gives us further insight into what happened on that night when Paul was caught up into heaven.  As he wrote to the Corinthians, "I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven. Whether it was in the body or out of the body I do not know—God knows. And I know that this man—whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, but God knows— was caught up to paradise and heard inexpressible things, things that no one is permitted to tell." (2 Cor 12:2-4).

If you have not read this account of Seneca Sodi's forty days in heaven, I encourage you to read it.  You can find it at Insights of God where you can find both PDF and Word formats of the book at this link. Please prayerfully read the book, and use the Testimony Review Process adopted by this blog, as you decide for yourself whether this was a true testimony.  For issues and concerns, each person must confirm with the Lord, whether something is valid or not.

I can assure you that the book will bless you with many other amazing stories like this one.  Even in our day today there are people who, like Paul, are being caught up into heaven like brother Yong-Doo Kim, Angelica Zambrano, Oden Hetrick, Anna Rountree, and brother Daniel Ekechukwu.  Heaven is real! Jesus has prepared it for those who love and obey Him.  Please don't miss it for anything!

Do You Want to Know Him?
If you want to know Jesus personally, you can. It all begins when you repent and believe in Jesus.  Do you know what God's Word, the Bible says?

“Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God, and saying, ‘The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.’” (Mar 1:14b-15).  He preached that we must repent and believe.

Please see my explanation of this in my post called "Do You Want to Know Jesus?"

A Warning to the Nay Sayers

The Lord in His mercy has been giving divine revelations to certain people, and sending them with messages to warn the sleeping Church in these last and evil days.  However, some people either reject these messages entirely, or in part, due to fear, doubt, and unbelief.  While we need to be careful to discern the things of the spirit, we must be equally careful not to reject the genuine messages that are truly from the Lord.

Here are some Scriptures to consider, study, and meditate on, regarding the temptation to reject any prophesy, dream, or vision from the Lord.

The Lord Speaks Through Children and the Child-like
Sometimes the Lord speaks through children, including our own children.  Some people want us to make them stop speaking about these things, because it scares them.  It’s like the the chief priests and the scribes, who heard the children praising Jesus with shouts of “Hosanna to the Son of David.”  They became indignant:

And said to Him, "Do You hear what these children are saying?" And Jesus *said to them, "Yes; have you never read, 'Out of the mouth of infants and nursing babies You have prepared praise for Yourself'?"  (Mat 21:16)

Remember that the Lord has ordained praise, and even dreams, visions, and revelations for children, as Joel prophesied:

"It will come about after this That I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind; And your sons and daughters will prophesy, Your old men will dream dreams, Your young men will see visions. "Even on the male and female servants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.” (Joe 2:28-29; cf., Ac 2:16-18)

It is not the wise and learned ones to whom God has chosen to reveal these things. He reveals them to the children and the child-like.  Yet so many intelligent Christians speak like Dr. Spock from the Star Trek series.  When they read or listen to some of these divine revelations, they have the thought, “That’s illogical,” and dismiss what the Lord said.  Be careful not to fall into this Dr. Spock syndrome.

At that time Jesus said, "I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to infants. "Yes, Father, for this way was well-pleasing in Your sight.  (Mat 11:25-26)

Nay Sayers Say "Do Not Speak Out"
In the book of Micah the prophet, he wrote:

'Do not speak out,' so they speak out. But if they do not speak out concerning these things, Reproaches will not be turned back.  (Mic 2:6, NASB)

In other words, they spoke out, telling the prophet, “Do not speak out!”  Or in the NIV translation, "Do not prophesy!":

Do not prophesy,” their prophets say. “Do not prophesy about these things; disgrace will not overtake us.” (Mic 2:6, NIV)

They fail to realize that disgrace will certainly overtake them if they reject the message of the Lord through His prophet.  Unless the prophets speak out concerning these things, reproaches will not be turned back.

But religious people have always tried to stop the prophets of God from prophesying.  The men of Anathoth did this with Jeremiah, and even sought his life, if he insisted on prophesying:

Therefore thus says the LORD concerning the men of Anathoth, who seek your life, saying, "Do not prophesy in the name of the LORD, so that you will not die at our hand"; therefore, thus says the LORD of hosts, "Behold, I am about to punish them! The young men will die by the sword, their sons and daughters will die by famine; and a remnant will not be left to them, for I will bring disaster on the men of Anathoth--the year of their punishment."  (Jer 11:21-23)

Isaiah the prophet also wrote about this experience of those who said to the seers, "You must not see visions"; And to the prophets, "You must not prophesy to us what is right, Speak to us pleasant words.”  He wrote:

Who say to the seers, "You must not see visions"; And to the prophets, "You must not prophesy to us what is right, Speak to us pleasant words, Prophesy illusions. "Get out of the way, turn aside from the path, Let us hear no more about the Holy One of Israel." Therefore thus says the Holy One of Israel, "Since you have rejected this word And have put your trust in oppression and guile, and have relied on them, Therefore this iniquity will be to you Like a breach about to fall, A bulge in a high wall, Whose collapse comes suddenly in an instant, Whose collapse is like the smashing of a potter's jar, So ruthlessly shattered That a sherd will not be found among its pieces To take fire from a hearth Or to scoop water from a cistern." For thus the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel, has said, "In repentance and rest you will be saved, In quietness and trust is your strength." But you were not willing,  (Isa 30:10-15)

You see they didn’t want to hear about holiness from the Holy One of Israel.  If they had repented and rested quietly in an abiding trust in the Lord, they would have been saved.  But they rejected the Word, and they were not willing, so the Lord sent disaster instead.

Jesus affirmed that the religious people of Jerusalem had killed the prophets and stoned those sent to her.  He Himself wanted to gather their children to Himself, but they were not willing, so nothing remained for them, except desolation, which came forty years later in 70 AD.

"Truly I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation. Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, the way a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were unwilling. Behold, your house is being left to you desolate!” (Mat 23:36-38)

A Way of Death That Seems Right
You might be thinking, “I don’t see anything sinful or wrong about this thing I am doing, which this person claims the Lord told them to warn the Church about.”  If that is you, then remember that,

There is a way which seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.” (Pro 16:25)

As disciples of Christ, we're entering into life.  This is an eternal life we're beginning.  So we need to begin now living the kind of life we'll be living for eternity in heaven.

Calling Evil Good and Good Evil
Any time the true prophets of God speak, like Jeremiah, it will expose sin.  But just as in the days of Jeremiah, the false prophets of today do not expose sin.

“Your prophets have seen for you False and foolish visions; And they have not exposed your iniquity So as to restore you from captivity, But they have seen for you false and misleading oracles.” (Lam 2:14).  We must beware of false prophets, who give messages that do not expose sin, and have no point to them.

These false messengers are defending the devil by calling good evil and evil good.  The Holy Spirit spoke through the prophet Isaiah, saying: “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!” (Isa 5:20).

Woe to those who reject the Lord’s message of holiness, since they are not listening to His voice, and not obeying Him.  They have an evil unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God.  As the Scripture says, "Take care, brethren, that there not be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God." (Heb 3:12).

Therefore, the Lord will give them over to the stubbornness of their heart to walk in their own devices. "But My people did not listen to My voice, And Israel did not obey Me. So I gave them over to the stubbornness of their heart, To walk in their own devices."  (Psa 81:11-12; cf. Rom 1:24-28).  That is a dangerous place to be, because you can no longer see that what you are doing is evil.

A Divine Mandate to Warn Others
And let’s never forget that the messengers of the Lord are under divine mandate to warn us, or else our blood will be on their hands:

"Now as for you, son of man, I have appointed you a watchman for the house of Israel; so you will hear a message from My mouth and give them warning from Me. When I say to the wicked, 'O wicked man, you will surely die,' and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require from your hand.”  (Eze 33:7-8)

Likewise, if we receive the message of the Lord and refuse to warn others, then their blood will be on our hands.

Concerned More About Our Comfort Zones
However, sometimes we can be like Jonah.  We’re more concerned about our own comfort, than about the things the Lord cares about.  We get upset if someone gives a warning message from the Lord that threatens our comfort zone. But the reason is that we don't understand the mercy of God.  The Lord in His mercy is much more concerned about rescuing our souls from perishing than He is about us keeping our little idols.

Then the LORD said, "You had compassion on the plant for which you did not work and which you did not cause to grow, which came up overnight and perished overnight. Should I not have compassion on Nineveh, the great city in which there are more than 120,000 persons who do not know the difference between their right and left hand, as well as many animals?" (Jon 4:10-11)

"Those who cling to worthless idols turn away from God’s love for them." (Jon 2:8).

God is restoring Truth
As I mentioned in my article, Restored Truth, some who reject the messages say that God has not left anything out of His Word, so He doesn't need to give us any new revelations. However, what they fail to realize is that these things have been in the Word of God all along right beneath our noses, although in certain cases the specific sin may not be mentioned by name.  The problem is not that they are missing from God's Word, rather the problem is with us that we have been beaten with blindness and lost the Truth.

When God calls us back to the Truth written in His eternal Word, which we have lost, I call this a restored truth.  God is restoring Truth.  Each time God restores Truth, people either reject it or embrace it.  The ones who embrace it and repent find mercy.  Those who reject the truth that God is restoring are hardening their hearts and missing the grace of God (Heb 12:15). Be careful you are not like the religious leaders who loved their sin more than the Truth and rejected Martin Luther's ninety-five theses.

Consider Carefully What You Hear
Our Lord Jesus Christ warned us to consider carefully what we hear. He said, “For whatever is hidden is meant to be disclosed, and whatever is concealed is meant to be brought out into the open. If anyone has ears to hear, let them hear. Consider carefully what you hear,” he continued. “With the measure you use, it will be measured to you—and even more. Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.” (Mk 4:22-25).  That means that whoever does not have ears to hear what the Spirit is saying to the Churches, even what they have will be taken from them.  Don't let that happen to you!

Spiritual Warfare and the Two Perspectives
I can assure you that there is great spiritual warfare surrounding these revelations.  The devil knows that if people accept these and repent, turning back to God, they will escape hell.  He is angry that his secrets have been revealed, so he is working hard to keep that from happening, or at least to minimize the damage to his kingdom.  There are two basic perspectives when reading these divine revelations. It's like two witnesses seeing the same thing from two different points of view.

One perspective is the enemy's.  He speaks to a person and says, "What's the use then? Why serve God?  You're going to hell, and so is your whole church.  It's all a waste.  It's hopeless. You're doomed.  Nothing you do will ever please God. He's a ruthless task master, and His standard is too high."  This is a defeatist attitude in what I call the "condemnation zone."

Another lie the enemy will tell you is, "These testimonies are from the devil.  A loving God would never say such things. That sounds like the Old Covenant, so it cannot be true.  It's just legalism."

The other perspective is God's.  If you have that perspective, you think, "How compassionate!  How merciful of God to delay the rapture long enough for me to get this revelation, so that I could repent!  The fact that I am still alive and the rapture has not happened yet is evidence that God loves me and cares about me.  He is seeking to save me and rescue my soul from hell.  I need to take this day that the Lord has given me, and I need to use the opportunity to repent, seek His face, cry out to Him for mercy for me and my family and my church. Then I need to begin to warn them before it's too late. There is still hope for us! This could be the last day I have."  God doesn't see it as hopeless.  He sees there is great hope that you will repent and warn other, and not perish.

These revelations are God's medicine that He is giving us to take, because the Church is sick.  Like little children who make faces when they take their medicine, and they spit it out or refuse to take it once they taste it, many people do that with divine revelations of hell, and warning messages from the Lord.  They get very depressed, confused, sick to their stomach, and struggle with receiving these words.

But you need to understand that God is giving us this medicine, because it is necessary.  It's the last thing He is able to do, before He sends calamity.  Those who will take the medicine and repent, turning back to God through Jesus Christ, will be spared from the coming disaster.  But those who refuse to take it will end up in the Great Tribulation, in the midst of divine judgments.  If they thought the bitter medicine was terrible and they could not bear to taste it, and if it made them depressed and confused, then how much more will they have the same kind of reaction to the Great Tribulation.  They will realize that they and their church have missed the rapture, and they are left behind.  They will not want to get out of bed.  It will be worse than dying.  That will be far more depressing than any revelation they heard before the Great Tribulation..

At that point, it will no longer be merely a prophetic utterance, it will be the fulfillment of prophecy.  They will be living a nightmare in their home, their neighborhood, and their country.  Then the horror of it all will become reality and it will be that much more difficult for them to repent, because they will be in survival mode.  And if they hardened their hearts when they heard the revelations, they will be tempted to harden their hearts again in the Great Tribulation.  They will have plenty of opportunity to deny Christ and take the mark of the beast. But if they do, they will have lost all chance of ever being saved.

Dear people, now is the time to repent.  Today is the day of salvation.  Now is the time of God's favor.

"We also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain-- for He says, 'At the acceptable time I listened to you, and on the day of salvation I helped you.'  Behold, now is 'the acceptable time,' behold, now is 'the day of salvation--'" (2Co 6:1-2)

In His kindness, He has extended this extra grace to you to get things right with Him.  Seize the moment!  Don't sit back with a condemned attitude and say, "It's too late. There's nothing we can do."

If You Love Me You Will Obey Me
Many times, we think that the words we speak are the most important thing that matters.  But God doesn't look at it that way.  I need to clarify that our words are important, and we will be rewarded for our words, as surely as we are rewarded for what we do.  But God is looking at the heart and wants to see obedience to His commands.  Jesus said, "If you love Me, you will keep My commandments." (Joh 14:15)

It doesn't matter if a woman sings the most beautiful lyrics with the voice of an angel in Church on Sunday.  If she is dressed and adorned like Jezebel, what will it profit her?  If a man is living in adultery, yet he evangelizes many people, will he go to heaven?  Surely not.  No adulterer will inherit the kingdom of heaven.  Whatever your sin is, no amount of good works could be enough to outweigh it and get you to heaven.  You can take whatever that sin is that you want to hold onto, and plug it into this illustration.  Then ask yourself if it's worth losing your soul.

You might say, "All this talk of holiness in these messages makes me feel like we're going back to the Old Covenant." Based on the years of desensitization from our culture, and the failure of preachers to preach on holiness, I can understand how someone might feel that way.

But Jesus said, "Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill. For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished. Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I say to you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven." (Mat 5:17-20)

It doesn't matter what you "say" with your lips, if you do not act on the Words of Jesus.

He also said, "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.' Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock. Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell--and great was its fall. When Jesus had finished these words, the crowds were amazed at His teaching; for He was teaching them as one having authority, and not as their scribes." (Mat 7:21-29)

The two houses are two lives.  One is built on sand, because that person is not obedient to act on what Jesus said.  That house fell with a great fall.  The other is built on the rock, and did not fall, because that person puts the Lord's Words into practice. He taught us that it doesn't matter what you say with your lips, if you don't put His Words into practice.  Therefore, God is not looking for lip service, but true, obedient love.

“But if you do not obey the LORD, and if you rebel against his commands, his hand will be against you, as it was against your ancestors.” (1 Sam 12:15)

Narrow is the Gate
You shouldn't say, "What about this person or that person I know?  They are a believer, and they are not living by these high standards that we are being called to in these revelations.  If that's the standard for heaven, then they'll perish in hell."

You need to first get your life right with God through repentance and obedience.  Then you need to pray for others that God will have mercy on them.  And you need to warn them.  God will not lower His standard for anyone.  He expects us to change.

The gate we must enter through is a narrow one. As I explained in my article, The Straight and Narrow Path, it's much more narrow than most people realize.

Jesus said, "Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it." (Mat 7:13-14)

As in the Days of Noah
If there were an impending, massive hurricane about to hit your town, would you be decorating the front of the house for Christmas, or would you be preparing for emergency -- taping windows, buying water, and stocking up on supplies like flashlights and batteries?  Likewise, the hour is late as impending disaster is coming to those who are not prepared spiritually. The Lord Jesus Christ is coming right away. Yet rather than preparing for His coming, many people are going about their usual business, more concerned about their normal routines, like hanging Christmas decorations.  They refuse to listen to the warnings.

"For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be.” (Mat 24:37-39)

Putting it All Together
Let's not be nay sayers, who want to silence the children and the child-like that are giving us messages from the Lord.  If you hear the Lord's voice today, don't harden your heart.  Beware that you are not calling good evil and evil good.  It is possible that the Lord could give you over to your own devices, so that you would become convinced that you are right, when in fact you are rebellious. We should correctly discern the things of the Spirit, and then receive that which is genuinely from the Lord.

Don't fall into the Dr. Spock syndrome.  It's not your logic or intellect that is going to save the day, but the Spirit of God alone.  He has and continues to do things that are seemingly illogical to our little brains.  But in fact, they are very wise.

You need to be willing to give up everything for the Lord.  That one thing that you want to keep is not worth losing your soul.  It may seem right to you, but in the end it's the way of death.  If the Lord puts His finger on it and says, "That must go," then get rid of it. In fact, don't wait for Him to tell you.  Ask the Holy Spirit to expose anything hidden in your life that must go.  Ask Him to judge you severely, correct you ruthlessly, and rebuke you thoroughly, so you can serve Him more perfectly, being void of all hypocrisy, meek and lowly of heart.

While we're going around trying to protect our little comfort zones or favorite sins that seem so small to us, the Lord's concern for our souls and the souls of billions of others is infinitely greater than our concern for our comfort zone. Try to put everything into proper perspective by seeing it in the light of eternity.  What will you think about that little sin a million years from now? If you fail to give up everything, then end up in hell, what will you think throughout eternity about that thing you held onto while you were on earth, which seemed so important at the time?  You will regret the day you were ever born!

But if you forsake all sin,and follow Jesus, then once you are up in heaven with Him, you won't even remember the things you gave up for Him while you were on earth, because they will seem so insignificant compared to His exceedingly great glory.

The Lord has given a mandate to the watchman to warn others.  And once we come to know what the Lord requires, we too must warn others.  The time is short, and the Lord is not going to lower the high standard of heaven for anyone.  He requires truth, righteousness, and holiness, without which no one shall see God.

Sister Ayodelle Sawyer - a Revelation of Heaven and Hell

This is a revelation of what Sister Ayodele Sawyerr from Sierra Leone saw in Heaven and Hell.  I have spoken with a godly sister in Christ, who knows sister Ayo, named Claire Andoun Atongo.  She says that sister Ayo is very reserved, and was training the sisters in prayer.  Claire was always together with her praying, and said she is a mature believer in Christ.  Here is her testimony:

When sister Ayo saw the Lord, she said He was shining as a Light.  She said, if you were to take all the energy in the world and put it all together, it would not compare with the Light of Christ.

Time is Up
He told her that the rapture is imminent.  He said, "Time is up!  Time is up!  There is no time left. Soon and very soon the rapture is about to take place."

The State of the Church on Earth
He took her into a heavenly garden, where everything was in order and showed her on a screen the church in Sierre Leone.  He showed her a very large denomination, and said he didn't even recognize it.  He showed her a highly regarded preacher in that denomination, and said He didn't recognize him.  The man was committing sexual immorality with the women in the church.  She said that nobody there in Sierre Leone was preaching holiness, they were mainly preaching prosperity.

And the Lord showed her a woman of God that she had great regard for.  "When she stood to minister the Word of God, you feel you can get the Word of God. He said, 'She is my daughter. But look at the way she appears in front of people. Look at the hair attachments, the short skirts; the code of dressing is wrong to God.  She's preaching the Word, but the dressing, the [hair] attachments...' Then the Lord said, 'Go and tell her I sent you, and that if she does not repent and remove these things she is putting on -- these attachments, this makeup, these things -- she will not make it.'"  She was shocked.

He said, "I AM that I AM that I AM. Before Abraham was, I AM.  I created the heavens and the earth.  This thing that I'm telling you to go and tell them, they will not believe you.  Even your own family will not believe you."  He said, "Many will doubt.  And by the time they realize that I sent you, it should have been late for them." She said she is seeing it, because even her own blood brother ignores her when she tells him her testimony.

Afterward the Lord showed her about two ladies, who were preparing to go to a church service (see 49:00 in video).  The older one was dressed modestly and never put on anything.  She came to the younger one's door and beckoned her to come.  But the younger one just said, "Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait."  And Jesus said to Ayo, "I want you to look." The Lord said to Ayo as she watched this on the screen, "Look!"  All of a sudden the lady came out, and what Ayo saw was that the makeup was so thick that she looked like a Jezebel.  And the blouse she put on was like an empty bra.  You could see the hair attachments.  You could see the way the lady dressed. She just looked like the Queen of the Coast.

She said the Lord was angry.  His countenance changed.  His tone of talking changed in that particular area.  He said, "Look! They have idolized these things. With all those things, they can no longer serve Me. Go and tell them, My daughter, 'If anyone be a woman of God, no matter the kind of congregation.  If she is putting on these things, she will not make it. She will go to hell. They have taken these things more than Me. With all these things, women can't praise Me, women can't worship Me, women can't seek Me with all these things."  Once again, Sister Ayo was shocked, and said, "God!"

She said that when He held her hand, it was a giant holding the hand of an ant, because it was so big.  The sweetness she felt when He held her hand, she forgot about everything in the world. She said that when you see the Lord Jesus, because of His glory and His mighty power, you cannot stand.

Jesus also told her that any church that does not believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, any church that does not believe in the Holy Spirit is going straight to hell.  He said, "Go tell those who are blaspheming, 'Anybody who is blaspheming against the Holy Ghost, pardon is not their own. Pardon is not allowed.'"

Then He showed her the churches where people used to worship God, so she could see the kind of dressing the people put on.  The church is a very big something.  Sister Ayo said, "Some of them are just half naked."  The Lord said, "I want you to look, so that you can explain exactly to the women."  She said there are more women than men in hell.  She says, "Most of the women because of their dressing, it will take them to hell.  They think that if they don't dress like this, they will not be attractive to men, and will not find a husband.  Seek ye first!  When you put God first in your life, He knows what you need."

The Lord showed her the ways the brothers dressed in the Church. They are wearing their trousers down low on their hips, exposing their hind cleavage. They are exposing their chests with open shirts, so you can see their chests and the hair on their chests.  She said, "They are not making it to heaven."  It looked as if the anointing was with them when they worshiped.  Some of them were speaking in tongues, some were rolling, some were falling down, some were shouting as if the anointing was there. But the Lord said that this was not His anointing, because He does not enter into such churches.  He said, "I am not in their midst. I do not go into churches like this -- people dressed half naked, exposing their bodies." He said, "Your body is the temple of God. You should live a blameless and holy life."  Then she said, "I realized that churches today that say they felt the power of God; because of the way they dress, Jesus does not enter into those type of churches. The anointing they receive is not from God."

The Seven Columbian Youths
Then at 1:23:01 – 1:24:07, she testified that in heaven, Jesus said to her, “The Seven Columbian Youths – I, the Lord, showed them heaven and hell.  So go and tell people that – if they do not believe what they are saying – I sent them.” She did not even know about the Seven Columbian youths, because their testimony is on the internet, and she does not access the internet.  In Africa, people typically access the internet through their mobile phones, and she said that all she knows how to do on her phone is make and receive calls. Therefore, this message to her about the Columbian youths is all the more credible, since she was previously ignorant of them.

If you have not read or listened to the testimony of the Seven Columbian youths, I strongly urge you to do so. I have already written about it on a separate post.  The amazing thing was that on the same day I received my first negative comment on that post from a reader, who did not believe what the Columbian youths were saying, I happened to listen to Sister Ayo's testimony.  I did not know that the Lord had said anything to her about the Seven Columbian youths, until I listened to her testimony.  So when I heard that he said that, I was able to communicate that back to the skeptical reader.

Confirmation
She said,  "Lord, please reveal this to someone else to confirm this thing is really happening to me."  She wasn't talking to anyone about this, except her husband, but just keeping notes.  So then one night she spoke to a sister, who told her, "At around 1:00 or 1:30 AM, something woke me up.  A voice spoke to me, and a light filled the whole room.  And I knew something was happening to you.  A fear came over me." And the sister had to leave her house to go to her uncle's house to sleep.

In heaven she saw the buildings and angels, and was admiring the angels.  The Lord asked why she was admiring the angels.  He said, "They want to be like you.  You are made out of Me in My image.  And I have given you a free will."

The Book of Life
She saw the Book of Life near the great big gates of heaven.  She saw the angels recording things in it faster than a computer.  Inside this Book, the Lord showed her that every thought you think on earth, and every thing you do -- whether good or bad -- is recorded in this Book.

The apostle John wrote: "And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone's name was not found written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the lake of fire."  (Rev 20:12-15)

The Throne of God and the Twenty-four Elders
She was in a great hall in heaven and heard the voices saying, "Holy, holy, holy," with one unique voice.  They were kneeling down.  Then she knelt down and joined them.  She was told to look up and saw three glorious thrones and three golden crowns.  Then she saw the holy Bible, which was too big for her to hold in her hand. The glory was so thick you could not see through it. The Lord pointed, and said, "This is the throne room of My Father. These are the twenty-four elders." The others that she was kneeling with were the twenty-four elders. He said, "Whenever you worship Me, I feel good."

He said, "Go and tell those worshipers [on earth]:  If they think that their voices will carry them to heaven, if they are not living holy, they will not make it to heaven. No matter what their confession. No matter if they do signs and wonders.  No matter the crowds.  If they have these things on that they are dressed with, they will not make it to heaven.  If you are not holy, you will not make it to heaven."

Hell
She was taken by the Lord to hell, where she saw people she had known on earth, including a Muslim man, who refused to accept Jesus Christ during his lifetime.  She also saw a bar in hell, where men were sitting at it drinking. As they were drinking, she saw it was an acid they were drinking.  And their backs were falling off, and the flesh on their cheeks was falling off.  You could see their skeleton underneath.  But then it would come back onto their bodies.

She said she heard a male voice from a distance calling her, "Ayo!  Ayo! Ayo, I did not want you to come to this place!  Go back!  This place is not for you! Go back!  Go and tell your brothers that you accept Jesus as Lord.  Go and tell them! This place is not for you!"

She wondered, "Who is this who knows me, who knows I have two brothers?"  Then she saw her father there in front of her.  The fire brought him up in front of her and she was shocked to see him.  She cried, "Daddy!" He was shouting at her to go back and tell her brothers that they should accept Jesus, and that this place was not for her. She wept to see him there.  He had been fair in complexion and a very handsome man.  But the fire and torture and punishment had totally disfigured him.

As her father was saying this, Jesus had been silent, just watching her, but then He spoke. He said, "My daughter, your father should not have gone to this place. He had all the opportunities to repent and come to Me, and accept Me as Lord, but he failed to do that."  As the Lord was saying that, she was just crying to see how her father had been tortured and how he looked.  She was crying out to Him, "Lord, have mercy on him!"  But he turned to her and said, "There is no mercy here."

Then the Lord began to explain to her what brought her father into that place.  He said, "One: your father was an altar boy to the Catholic church."  She explained that she came from a strong Catholic background.  The Lord said, "He was seeing all the demonic things and the evil things that the reverend father was doing there. He was compromising.  And secondly, he was a society man. And thirdly he was a drunkard.  He knew there was someone like Me called Jesus.  He had all the opportunities to accept Me, but he never did." As the Lord was speaking, she fell to her knees and grabbed his legs, weeping and crying.  She was shouting, "Lord, have mercy on my father!  Take him out of this place! This place is not meant for him, Lord!" She was about to say, "Lord, You can take him out of this place and put me there."

Then as she was crying and kneeling down before the Lord, there she saw the most extraordinary thing she had ever seen in her life. She saw the crucifixion and how they beat the Lord. She saw the backside of the body of Jesus.  She saw the crown of thorns that were pushed into his head.  The thorns went inside His head. She said you would not be able to stand that pain.  She saw the blood flowing from His wounded left side. She had been weeping for her father, but she started weeping for the Lord.  She saw Him battered and beaten and dislocated.  She felt the pain of the Lord and cried.

Be Holy
Then He took her out of hell and she found herself in a rocky place, and she was exhausted.  She said that up until this time, the Lord was very, very handsome and unique to look at. Then Jesus told her, “I have shown you all these things.  No matter who you are are.  No matter what you preach. Be ye holy as I am holy."  And He repeated, "Be ye holy as I am holy.” She said the Lord turned.  His whole countenance and demeanor changed, and there she saw that God is a God of wrath.  Jesus, who was talking to her, is a God of wrath.  As the anger ignited in Him, she said you would not like to see the Lord when He looks like this. He shouted with anger and red eyes, as He emphasized holiness, “Go and tell the people of the world, ‘Without holiness! Without holiness, no man will see God.’” (see 1:51:30) She said that when He said the words, "Without holiness," it was like an earthquake was taking place right where she was, and like the ground was opened up underneath her and swallowed her up.

My friend, this may seem like a different Jesus than you believe in.  But this is the same Jesus we read about in the Bible.  He said that zeal for His Father's house consumes Him. That's why he cleansed the temple, and He is once again cleansing the temple.  The corruption and sin in the church brings pain to His heart.  And as the apostle Paul wrote to the Hebrews, "Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord." Holiness is not just something we receive positionally from God through Christ, it is something we are commanded to pursue, because we cannot see God without it.

Following these experiences, she said she has had no desire for food, water, or sleep.  And she said that even though she had not been eating, drinking water, or sleeping, she had more energy than those who had been eating, drinking, and sleeping. She assured her listeners that this is not a made up story from her imagination.  She does not have time to go and read these books, or to sit and think up something like this.  The only thing she reads is her Bible, worshiping and praising God.

The Lord emphasized holiness in this revelation.  She said, “We have to strive to walk in holiness...Let us live a holy life -- a life that will please God. Let us live like Job -- like the Lord boasted of him, 'Look at my servant. He is blameless.' Let us be blameless before the Lord, because at any time the rapture could take. I pray we will all make it in the rapture."
